Designated language teachers at Laurea provide support for languages and communication. They support and guide you, for example, with challenges related to writing and completing assignments, when you need additional support (Finnish, Swedish, English). Finnish as a foreign language (social services and health care), all campuses
A Finnish as a foreign language teacher supports social services and health care students with reading and writing difficulties whose mother tongue is other than Finnish, Swedish or Sami. The student’s goal is to learn and develop the Finnish language so that they can manage fluently in working life.
