RUUTI projects online

RUUTI projects are online project studies through which you acquire complementary competence that is part of your degree. Through RUUTI projects you gain new skills in real working-life projects together with Laurea’s key partners and other workplace partners. By participating in RUUTI projects you accelerate your studies, promote the development of your competence and build your professional network.

Come to hear more about RUUTI projects at the info sessions on 14 Jan, 4 Feb, 1 Apr and 6 May at 16:00  Teams meeting

In RUUTI projects you get to put theory into practice!

What does participation in a RUUTI project require from you?

Participation requires you to have experience of project work carried out as part of studies or other experience in implementing projects. Project studies require teamwork skills, initiative, self-direction and an interest in development tasks.

You will be able to develop your competence according to your career goals, deepen your skills in project tasks and in the subject area and development methods of the project. As part of the project start-up, the competence objectives and the preliminary scope of the project will be defined together with you as personal studies.

NOTE! RUUTI projects are not offered through Pakki; instead the studies will be added to your Pakki as personal studies.

How do you proceed to a RUUTI project?

New projects are added regularly during the semester. Browse projects via JobTeaser.

NOTE! Registration for RUUTI projects is always done on a project-by-project basis via JobTeaser announcements (not in Pakki), all year round!

P2P projects in Hyvinkää and Tikkurila

You register for projects via Pakki. See the instructions for adding interesting project studies to your PSP before registering and sign up in the same way as for other studies. Note, however, that projects have a limited number of places. If a project is full, it is not possible to join the project. Choose another project.

At Hyvinkää campus business studies are mainly carried out as real working-life development projects. After the first year of studies or approx. 120 credits, the student usually continues on the chosen path: day students continue with project studies and multi-modal students move to the field of legal competence. At this stage it is still possible to change the track of complementary competence studies if desired.

Projects are open to all Laurea students. The student must commit to weekly meetings with supervisors and the team.

At Tikkurila campus business studies in the daytime programme are mainly implemented as project-based studies in real working-life development projects. Projects are open to all Laurea students. Students must commit to project meetings with supervisors and the team

Registration for projects for the next semester is done via Pakki during the enrolment period. The student will be notified of acceptance to the projects they applied for at the same time as the confirmation of participation in study modules. First-year students starting their studies are placed in projects automatically.
