Letter of Confirmation

  • Remember to request the Letter of Confirmation document completed and signed by your host university coordinator at the end of your exchange!
  • The form can be signed no earlier than one week before the end date of your exchange.
  • Letter of Confirmation Erasmus / Non-Erasmus

Accreditation of prior learning

  • Have a feedback discussion with your teacher tutor / the head teacher responsible for your programme. Go through the courses completed during the exchange and check that the Learning Agreement prepared before the exchange is still valid. In particular, the plan for recognition in table B of the Learning Agreement must be correct. If changes have occurred, also check their placement in your PSP.
  • Submit an eAHOT application in accordance with the feedback discussion and the PSP placements agreed there, if this has not already been agreed before the exchange. Recognition for international studies is applied for in Pakki with an eAHOT application, based on which they are recorded in your PSP. You will need a transcript of records and the Learning Agreement as attachments to the application.
    • The eAHOT application is administratively approved by the head of studies, but content-wise by your teacher tutor.
    • Heads of studies are responsible for recording credits in Pakki; your teacher tutor is responsible for the content of your exchange studies.
    • Please ensure that you make the application in accordance with the placements agreed with your teacher tutor, i.e. as agreed in the Learning Agreement.

  • Laurea uses ECTS credits (1 ECTS equals 27 hours of work). According to the Learning Agreement, studies completed abroad are fully credited towards the degree at Laurea. If the host university does not use ECTS credits, see the credit conversion table
