Appeal procedure instructions
If the decision on the student selection has not been made in accordance with the selection criteria of the application, the person has the possibility to seek a written rectification from the university of applied sciences’ university collegium within 14 days of the publication of the student selection result.
Please contact Laurea’s admissions services before sending an appeal request. This may speed up the handling of your matter or possibly resolve it without needing to send a formal appeal. If, after contacting the Laurea Admissions Services and hearing the grounds for the decision, the applicant still thinks that the decision has not been made according to the Laurea selection criteria, the applicants may submit a written appeal against the decision. The appeal must be well-grounded and it should contain accurate information on where Laurea has not followed the Laurea selection criteria.
In the appeal request, state your name, contact details and in what respects the selection criteria have not been followed or in what way the student selection was made incorrectly.
The appeal request is sent via the electronic form at E-form – Appeal Request – Laurea University of Applied Sciences or to Laurea University of Applied Sciences, University Collegium, Ratatie 22, 01300 Vantaa.
