InTrustS – Intelligent and reliable social and health service systems research group

The research group examines the digitalization of social and health services, human-centered technology adoption, and the impacts of digital solutions on the service system, professionals and clients. The aim of the work is to promote ethical, accessible and reliable digital social and health services.

Research for developing future social and health services

Digital solutions and artificial intelligence are transforming social and health services. In the InTrustS research team we study how service systems, technologies and operating models can be developed so that they are effective, ethical and accessible to users.

Our research focuses especially on the digitalization of social and health services, human-centered technology adoption and the effects of digital solutions on clients, professionals and the entire service system. We build a knowledge base that supports decision-making, service development and the adoption of new solutions.

We conduct research and development in close collaboration with the public sector, welfare regions, companies, organizations and international networks. The goal is to promote reliable, equitable and future-oriented social and health services.
