Are you looking for instructions on activating your user account, changing your password, or signing in? From this page you can find all instructions related to Laurea user accounts and signing in in one place.
Start here
Activate your user account
If you do not have a Finnish personal identity code and cannot use the eIDAS authentication method, first enable the Finnish Authenticator app.
Activate two-factor authentication
Sign in to Laurea services
Signing in to Laurea services uses a user account whose suffix is in the form @laurea.fi, for example ABC00001@laurea.fi or 1234567@laurea.fi.
How do I change my password?
Users must change their password every 12 months. If the password is not changed within the deadline, the account will be locked. A notification about the password expiring will be sent to the user by email. The password can also be changed before the forced rotation period.
General information on logging in to Laurea services
Signing in to Laurea services is done using your username with the suffix @laurea.fi, for example ABC00001@laurea.fi or 1234567@laurea.fi.
Remember: You cannot sign in to Laurea services with the email address (firstname.lastname@student.laurea.fi).
You can check your username using the instructions found here.
Two-factor authentication (MFA) is required to sign in to Microsoft’s cloud services. Instructions for registering MFA can be found here.
If you have two-factor authentication (MFA) enabled but, for some reason, Microsoft Authenticator does not receive a verification prompt, MFA must be reset. This can be done in Laurea’s IAM portal. Instructions for resetting and registering MFA can be found here.
