Tuudo

You can check, via the Tuudo app, for example your study schedules, the campus restaurant menus and Laurea’s news and events. With Tuudo you can also borrow books from the library and see their due dates. Tuudo works on Android and iOS devices. You can download Tuudo from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Studies in Tuudo

Your studies are updated based on the PSP (HOPS) in Pakki. Completed studies are displayed by academic year, as are the credits.

All ongoing, followed and failed courses, as well as those you have enrolled in, can also be conveniently found in the app.

With the course search you can look for studies by name, code or group code, or by using ready-made filters. Identical course implementations are differentiated by the course start time. You can enrol in an implementation simply by pressing the enrolment button. You can also mark a course as followed. That way it will appear in the timetable even if you have not enrolled in it.

Timetable

Tuudo’s timetable is generated automatically based on enrolments made in Pakki.

The colours of timetable reservations mean:

• yellow: reservation for a student group
• grey: course enrolment is awaiting approval
• blue colour: reservation for your approved course instance

If the enrolment is rejected, the reservations for that course will disappear from the timetable.

Clicking the reservation brings up the reservation’s detailed information. From the Location section, clicking the room information shows where the room is on the campus floor plan.

You can link your timetable to your phone’s calendar from the settings.

Menus

The Restaurants window shows the menus of the campus restaurants. A specific campus menu can also be added to the front page (home menu). At the bottom of the page there is a gear menu where you can set the desired restaurant. After that, the menu will appear on the front page.

Student card for Laureamko members

By joining the student union Laureamko you get a student card in Tuudo, which gives you student discounts, for example on VR and Matkahuolto. By showing the student card you receive a Kela-subsidised meal at Laurea’s campus restaurants. If you are not a member of the student union, you will still get a student identifier in Tuudo, i.e. a meal subsidy card.

Meal subsidy card

Tuudo contains a student identifier, i.e. a meal subsidy card, for all eligible students. You can get a Kela-subsidised student-priced lunch by showing Tuudo’s QR code at the restaurant cashier at the Tikkurila, Otaniemi, Hyvinkää, Porvoo and Lohja campus restaurants.

Laurea news and events

On the front page below the timetable there is a news section. There you can find news and events published in the student intranet, as well as announcements from Laureamko and Tuudo. News and events are also available in English.

The view can be customised according to your preferences. For example, you can hide English-language news. At the news section there is a gear menu “Select news sources”, from which you can hide news sources by clicking them off.

Library

Through Tuudo you get a digital library card for borrowing. In addition, you can see your loans and reservations in Tuudo and renew your loans. Tuudo reminds you of due loans and arrived reservations with notifications. You can also find library opening hours and locations on campus in Tuudo.

Campus maps

The map can be used to search for the locations of each campus’s rooms. Campus rooms are searched from the search field. The floor plans are visible including all floors. From the timetable you can check the location of a lecture on the map by pressing the room number marked in red.

People and services – Contact information

Contact information can be found on the People and Services page. The app contains email addresses, phone numbers and opening hours of the most important services.

Wellbeing menu

From Laurea’s wellbeing menu you will find both the services offered to students by Nyyti and the wellbeing services provided by Laurea.
