Wireless networks on Laurea’s campuses
On Laurea campuses you can connect your devices to the Internet wirelessly. Take care of your device’s security by regularly updating your system and using antivirus software and a firewall.
Laurea campuses offer two wireless networks for students:
- Eduroam is an international wireless network that allows you to access the Internet securely with your Laurea credentials at organizations that are part of the eduroam network, both in Finland and abroad.
- Laurea provides a guest network for users who do not have Laurea credentials or access to the eduroam network.
Setting up the eduroam network
- Download the installer for your device from geteduroam.org
- Choose Laurea as your organization
- Enter your username in the form username@laurea.fi and your password
- Select “Connect”
