Laurea services for alumni
By joining the alumni register you will receive up-to-date information about our continuing and further education opportunities, you can network at alumni events and you can share your career experiences and expertise with students as an alumni lecturer. The latest alumni news and information about events and trainings are sent monthly in the alumni newsletter. Please join the alumni register!
- Graduates who have completed their studies within the scheduled time can study for four semesters (2 years) free of charge at Laurea’s Open UAS after graduation. More information on how to use the benefit can be found in Laurea’s online store.
- The JobTeaser career portal is available to support your job search and career planning
- Library services are still available to you
- By joining the guest lecturer pool you may get opportunities to give one-off lectures on studies
- You will receive information about further education opportunities
- You will receive invitations to alumni and stakeholder events
- You have the opportunity to utilise students’ expertise to develop your own activities

Laurea Alum of the Year
The Laurea Alum of the Year Award has been awarded since year 2008. The recognition is granted annually to a Laurea alum who highlights Laurea and the expertise gained here in working life and in society.

Career Monitoring Survey
The national career monitoring survey examines the employment and career situation of graduates from Universities of Applied Sciences, and how the competencies gained through education correspond to the skills required in working life.
