JobTeaser career portal for alumni

What is JobTeaser?

JobTeaser is an international career portal aimed at students and alumni. JobTeaser connects university students, alumni and companies, making it easy for everyone to keep in touch with students, alumni and employers they are interested in. Listings are posted one at a time per university of applied sciences, so listings posted to Laurea’s JobTeaser are intended to target our own students and alumni.

Through JobTeaser, students and alumni can find, across Europe:

• Job postings of various durations and levels
• Career events, webinars and training sessions
• Career planning and job search tips
• Information about companies

If you select in your profile that you are open to job offers and add your CV, the information will also be updated to Laurea’s talent pool. Laurea’s key partners have access to this database. These employers can search the database for the skills they need and contact students and alumni directly for recruitment. These companies and organizations can be found under the Companies tab with the label “Key partner”. You can also contact companies that interest you directly.

Log in to the JobTeaser career portal

Read the instructions carefully before logging in to the JobTeaser career portal. Below are instructions for first-time users and for soon-to-be graduates who have already used the portal during their studies.

NEW USER

1. Register as a new user.
   • Register using your personal email address.
2. Important! To see the services intended for alumni, you must select your field of study during registration as: Alumni (FIN).
3. Select the job roles that interest you. These selections affect which events and offers you see by default on the Jobs tab. You can easily change them from your profile under “search criteria”.
4. Complete the registration and activate your account via the link sent to your email.
5. You can now update your personal information on the Dashboard tab.

GRADUATING STUDENT

When you are graduating and your student.laurea.fi credentials are being deactivated, you can continue using JobTeaser by changing your email address. Do the following:

1. Log in to Laurea’s JobTeaser with your student.laurea.fi credentials
2. In your Account settings, change your student.laurea.fi email address to the email address you will use after graduation.
3. Log out of JobTeaser.
4. On the login page, click the “Log in with your email address” link and request a new password for the email address you changed to using the “Forgot password?” function.
5. After changing the password, you can continue using your JobTeaser account via the same link.
6. On the Dashboard tab, go to “edit my profile” and in the form that opens under your profile picture change your field of study in your personal information to Alumni (FIN). It is important to do this to see all content intended for alumni.
