JobFest 2027

Are you looking for an internship, a summer job, a thesis topic, or your first step into working life? JobFest brings employers to Laurea – come and meet employers in your field, expand your professional network, and explore future career opportunities.

JobFest will take place on 26–28 January 2027 at Laurea’s Tikkurila and Leppävaara campuses. The event is open to students from all Laurea degree programmes.

Why JobFest?

JobFest is more than a recruitment event. It is a career development journey that helps you prepare, connect with employers and take the next step towards your future career.

At JobFest, you’ll have the opportunity to meet employers, expand your professional network, and discover new career opportunities. You might even find your future job! Employers will introduce their organisations and career opportunities while also learning about Laurea students’ expectations and perspectives on working life.

Even if you’re not currently looking for a job, JobFest is a great opportunity to get to know employers, build your network, and explore career paths in your field.

JobFest 2027 – Building a Safe, Meaningful and Future-Ready Working Life


A safe, meaningful and future-ready working life is built on open collaboration, continuous learning and employee well-being. These trends require employers to be adaptable and to invest proactively in employee well-being and sustainable working careers.

At JobFest, you’ll have the opportunity to meet employers, attend inspiring talks and gain insights into the skills and qualities that today’s working life values. You’ll also receive practical support for your job search.

How to prepare for JobFest

Before the event

  • Join the Career Services pre-event workshops (more information will be available soon).
  • Update your LinkedIn profile and CV.
  • Explore the participating employers and the opportunities they offer.
  • Think about what you’d like to ask employers and what you’re looking for in a future workplace.
  • Prepare a short introduction about yourself to help you start conversations.

During the event

  • Be proactive and introduce yourself to employers you’re interested in. Show genuine curiosity and ask questions about their organisation and career opportunities.
  • Don’t hesitate to talk to employers you don’t know yet – it’s a great way to broaden your professional network.
  • Ask about internships, graduate positions and other career opportunities, and find out how to apply.
  • Connect with the people you meet on LinkedIn after your conversations.
  • Attend the talks and presentations throughout the day (more information will be available soon).

To help you make the most of your visit, JobFest is organised over three days, with each day focusing on specific fields of study. You’ll have the opportunity to meet employers looking for students and graduates in your field.

The programme and participating employers will be listed by field of study and updated regularly as new employers join the event.
