Students Who Engage in Competitive Sports Can Apply for Sport Scholarship between 12 – 23 October 2026

Laurea has been awarded the Elite Athlete Friendly Higher Education Institution Quality Label. Laurea wants to support the flexible balancing of studies and sports while promoting students’ overall well-being.

As part of this commitment, Laurea has established a scholarship programme that provides annual scholarships of approximately EUR 1,000-1,500 to a small number of student-athletes studying at Laurea.

The application period for the scholarship is 12–23 October 2026.

Based on the applications received, Laurea’s Scholarship Committee, together with the student-athlete coordinator, will select the scholarship recipients. Particular emphasis is placed on the applicant’s commitment and ambition in sports, financial need, and academic performance.
