Laurea’s new visual identity celebrates our 35th anniversary
The aim of the renewal is to clarify Laurea’s communications, strengthen recognisability and support communal work.

Laurea University of Applied Sciences celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. The anniversary year is a moment to thank and celebrate the shared journey that thousands of Laurea community members have helped build – students, teachers, experts, partners and people who have made bold decisions. While honouring past achievements, the focus is above all on the future.
The anniversary year is a good moment to renew Laurea’s brand. The aim of the renewal is to clarify Laurea’s communications, strengthen recognisability and support communal work. This is reflected in, among other things, the visual identity, updated colours, the logo, typography, imagery and the tone of communication. Communications have been developed more strongly to take different target groups into account so that Laurea can serve its stakeholders better.
A central part of the whole is the new Laurea.fi website, which opened on May 19. The site offers a clearer and more audience-oriented user experience than before. The most significant change for students is the intranet moving to the external website, which gathers key services in one place.
Laurea’s brand is built from everyday actions: the way of acting, meeting, communicating and appearing. That is why every Laurea community member’s contribution is important going forward as well. A strong and unified Laurea is created by working together.
The rebranding has been carried out internally by Laurea’s communications and marketing team.
Welcome to Laurea’s new era.
