Project description

Urban Wellbeing Lab is co-funded by the Regional Council of Uusimaa and the European Union. The project uses urban environments as real-life testing platforms for wellbeing innovations and aims to strengthen the RDI capacities of SMEs and start-ups by leveraging open wellbeing data, co-creation, and piloting activities carried out in collaboration with cities.

The project is coordinated by Business Helsinki with Laurea University of Applied Sciences and Forum Virium Helsinki as partners. Laurea is responsible for designing and coordinating the RDI collaboration model that supports business development through the use of wellbeing data, and for developing an impact model to assess the effects of solutions on urban environments and city wellbeing.
