AI supported and enhanced creativity for the triple transition

AI-SECRETT is a European collaborative project that strengthens competencies related to artificial intelligence, creativity, and digital transformation. The project develops an innovative AI for Creativity master’s programme, flexible micro-credential-based training opportunities, and the AI-STEAM network, which brings together higher education institutions, businesses, public sector organisations, and civil society actors. The aim is to educate a new generation of professionals who can use AI creatively and responsibly to support Europe’s digital, green, and social transitions.

Background

Europe has a growing need for professionals who can combine the potential of artificial intelligence with creativity, innovation, and the development of different industries. While the importance of digital skills is increasing rapidly, the labour market requires more experts who can apply AI in a practical, responsible, human-centered, and sustainable way.

AI-SECRETT addresses this skills gap by developing education that combines artificial intelligence, creativity, innovation, and the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The project focuses particularly on how AI can strengthen human creativity, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to develop innovative solutions to societal and workplace challenges.

The project supports Europe’s digital, green, and social transitions by educating professionals for sectors such as culture and creative industries, energy and environment, manufacturing, mobility and transport, housing, and the agri-food sector. At the same time, it builds a European collaboration network that promotes knowledge exchange, innovation, and the identification of emerging skills needs.

Objectives

1) Foster advanced digital skills and human-centric AI innovation by establishing a
European education and innovation ecosystem in which AI supports creativity and
drives the digital, green and social transitions.

2) Train a new generation of digitally skilled professionals through an online ‘AI for
Creativity’ master’s programme, supported by modular and micro-credential-based
training.

3) Establish and expand the AI-STEAM network, a pan-European alliance of higher education
institutions, companies, public bodies and civil society organisations, to
facilitate knowledge exchange, identify emerging trends and drive cross-sector
innovation in AI.

AI-SECRETT is designed for students, professionals, companies, and public sector organisations that wish to strengthen their expertise in artificial intelligence, creativity, and innovation. The project provides training opportunities especially for those working in the fields of digital, green, and social transformation, as well as for individuals seeking to develop the advanced digital skills needed in the future world of work.
