Koppi! Completing studies with student-oriented guidance and the support of Popup Guidance in the era of Covid 19 pandemic has received a special grant from the Ministry of Education and Culture for the necessary measures due to the coronavirus pandemic to strengthen the levelling out of the learning gap for university students and support for the progress, guidance and student well-being of students.

We will continue the  multifunctional and student-oriented guidance developed in previous projects, such as the OMA OTE and HALI projects funded by the Ministry, and the development of Laurea's guidance services through service design. The two main objectives of the project are the following:

1) The student receives the necessary guidance effortlessly and in a timely manner on a one-stop-shop basis. This is achieved with Popup Guidance service, which provides multifunctional guidance. Popup Guidance gathers study and well-being services together, which appears as accessible guidance for the student. Popup Guidance also coordinates the outreach work to guide the students with difficulties so that they can benefit of the available services. Popup Guidance informs about the activities in the student intranet and in the newsletters sent for students.

2) To support students who are near of graduating but need support: The student receives personal  guidance to complete the studies. Students benefiting from enhanced guidance will have their own teacher who will identify existing skills, guide them to alternative study completion methods and possibly guide their thesis as well. This guidance work is carried out by the specifically appointed Koppi! teachers based on the data generated by the outreach activities.
