Community Coach training model

The project aims to create and implement a permanent Community Coach training model. Both participants and professionals will be trained as community coaches, and the model will become part of local wellbeing and support services.

Implementation and Cooperation

The project is implemented in Espoo in cooperation with the wellbeing services county, NGOs, and local parishes. Activities include training sessions, workshops, practical exercises, and tailored support based on participants’ needs.

Participants practice their skills in everyday life and work-related situations. The goal is that those who complete the training continue as peer coaches, helping the activities expand.

In addition, staff from partner organizations are trained as coaches to ensure the model continues after the project ends.

Results and Impact

The project will create a permanent and effective Community Coach model that supports wellbeing, inclusion, and access to employment or education. The skills gained will remain in the community even after the project ends.

The benefits extend to participants’ families and networks, improving overall wellbeing and daily life. The project also promotes equality, community cohesion, and sustainable development at the local level.
