Instructions for using JobTeaser

Profile

From the homepage you can edit your profile.

In your profile you can fill in your personal details using the provided fields. Add your CV, education and experience.

To see services intended for graduated students (alumni), you must select the field of study: Alumni (FIN).

By adding your CV and keeping the default setting “profile visible to recruiters” active, your information will also be updated in Laurea’s talent pool. Laurea’s key partners have access to this database. These employers can search the database for the skills they need and contact students for direct recruitment. You can find these companies and organizations under the Companies tab with the label “Key partner”. You can also contact the companies yourself.

If you want to remove your visibility from the talent pool, you can edit this setting in your account settings.

Jobs

From the Jobs tab you can search for job openings. You can try different searches and find the best settings for you. Any filters added in your profile will automatically be applied to the search criteria if you have added them. You can also easily clear the job filters and set them according to your current preferences. When choosing categories, prefer broader rather than narrower options.

Events

From the Events tab you can browse events that interest you. Here you will find Laurea’s own events, events from our partners and events announced across Europe. Events include trainings, webinars, recruitment events and much more. If you wish, you can participate in any events published on the platform. Based on your search criteria, you can subscribe to a weekly email about upcoming events and also unsubscribe from that email. We recommend adding English to the language selection to see international events as well.

Companies

On the Companies tab you can browse companies that interest you and the jobs they offer. You can also contact companies of interest directly via the recruitment contact details. You can follow companies to receive automatic email notifications about added news. Laurea’s key partners’ company profiles are always listed first.

Toolbox

From the Toolbox tab you will find information provided by Laurea’s career services organized by fields as well as work experiences shared by others. Laurea’s career tips provide comprehensive information on topics such as your skills and strengths, employment, job search and transition to working life. Please note that Laurea’s personal career guidance services are only available to students.

Your company can also post an open job advertisement, an internship, a thesis assignment or an event announcement on JobTeaser. You can find detailed information and instructions here.
