AMKoodari is a set of courses organized jointly by five Finnish UASes. Through AMKoodari, you can study individual courses related to programming and information technology in all participating universities. Enrolment for AMKoodari studies takes place through each school's own website.
You can apply through the separate application if you have completed your AMKoodari studies in any of the participating universities of applied sciences. You can still study during the spring of 2021, but the certificates of all of your AMKoodari studies must by attached to the application form by 3PM on May 10th 2021.
You can apply through the separate application by filling out the application form at studyinfo.fi. The application period starts on April 19th 8AM and ends on May 3rd 3PM.
You can apply if
- you have completed upper secondary school or Matriculation examination in Finland or abroad.
- you have completed at least 30 credits of AMKoodari studies by May 10th 2021
- you have at least B2 level of spoken and written proficiency in English.
Language proficiency is tested separately after the application period has ended, so a separate language certificate is not needed. Check the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for more information about the B2 level of language proficiency.
Students are selected based on the amount of credits they have completed. If there are several applicants that have completed the same number of credits in the AMKoodari training programme, preference is given to those applicants with the highest average grades. If there is a surplus number of eligible candidates after the above criteria are considered successful candidates will be chosen by lottery.
Selected students must confirm their study place by 1.
