Toimin Laureassa Rikosseuraamusalan tutkimustiimin vetäjänä ja Rikosseuraamusalan kehittämisen ja johtamisen YAMK-koulutuksen vastuuyliopettaja. Tutkimusintressini liittyvät vankiloiden digitalisaatioon, rikosseuraamusalan ammattilaisten kompetenssivaatimuksiin, valvottuun koevapauteen, asiakas–työntekijäsuhteen merkitykseen rikollisuudesta irrottautumisen tukemisessa sekä monialaiseen ja rikoserityiseen sosiaalityöhön.
