Uusi työ ja osaamisen johtaminen

In the UUTOS project, CEOs, development managers and HR personnel of SME companies at Uusimaa region participate in training, where they can develop their organization's processes in four areas: strategic management, R&D partnerships and multi-channel sales, forecasting networks and management of proactive competence. The project is Co-funded by the European Union.

The project promotes the availability of skilled labor and sustainable work instead of managing unemployment, and transfers learning to workplaces and networks. In addition to slow forces of change, rapid changes in the operating environment raise new needs for competence, management, and strategic thinking. The project responds to these needs by developing tools, processes, and operating models for 1) the strategic and proactive management of companies' human and social capital, 2) the management of personnel's partnership and network skills as well as innovation and foresight skills, and 3) the maintenance of a sustainable working career and future-proof skills and 4) the vitality and for the promotion of competitiveness through a new kind of cooperation between universities and companies.

In addition to slow forces of change, rapid changes in the operating environment raise new needs for competences, management and strategic thinking. The project responds to these needs by developing tools, processes and operating models to 1) manage the companies' human and social capital strategically and proactively, 2) to manage the personnel's partnership and network skills as well as innovation and foresight skills and to develop future-proof skills, and 3) to develop sustainable working careers and skills and 4) promoting vitality and competitiveness through a new kind of cooperation between universities and companies.

The results of the project, in addition to the increased expertise of the project participants and the benefits received by the stakeholders, are the following:·

  • process description and tools for strategy-oriented competence management·
  • R&D cooperation models to support the overall strategic competence management and promote new work methods, work processes and tools·
  • anticipating models to support strategic choices· milestones of competence management
  • open forums, articles and blogs actively shared in open access channels.

The results and tools and operating models can be used in management, management coaching and training, as well as regional work implemented through companies.
