SURE – Performance, resilience and vitality through continuous workplace learning

The SURE project developed an operating model that helps small and medium‑sized export companies strengthen their strategic capabilities and continuous workplace learning. The aim was to identify future skill needs and create tools for managing them systematically.

Project background

Small and medium‑sized export companies need up‑to‑date expertise on the green transition, responsibility and international competition. However, they often lack a clear model for managing competence in the long term and anticipating future needs. The SURE project addressed this by developing a structure for continuous workplace learning.

Project objectives

  • Organizations gain access to a tool (the SURE Meter) that helps assess and develop competence management.
  • Companies receive a model that supports continuous workplace learning and strategic competence development.
  • Leaders, teams and employees strengthen their skills in the green transition, responsibility, export competence, performance and resilience.
  • Companies are able to anticipate competence needs 3–5 years ahead.
