The goals of the project

For SMEs: Strengthen circular economy expertise, identify new business opportunities, and develop concrete products, services or operating models.

For higher education institutions: Create a lasting model for business-driven RDI collaboration and integrate real-world business development into teaching and research.

For networks and the region: Increase collaboration and RDI investment while supporting Uusimaa’s carbon neutrality targets.

Ways of working

We organise foresight workshops to clarify opportunities related to the circular economy and identify the key drivers of change affecting the company’s business. The workshop provides a clear direction for further development, with no prior circular economy expertise required.

We tailor circular economy RDI projects for companies to offer support in the design and development of a new product or service. The guided 1–2-month development period includes meetings, coaching and expert feedback, and is built around the company’s own needs.

We support the commercialisation of solutions once the developed concept is ready. We help to ensure that the product or service is ready for the market, taking into account the business model, scalability, regulation, certifications and intellectual property rights. Companies receive concise supporting materials and targeted coaching.

We also offer micro-courses to support the development of relevant skills and expertise.

All our services are provided with a low threshold for participation, and no previous circular economy expertise is required.
