Laurea has been chosen to implement the project where the main objective is to provide information on the key factors whose the impact of change will be experienced as the most effective matters by the travelers on the Eastern border. The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' IBA financial instrument. The project is coordinated by the Border Guard Department which operates under the Ministry of Interior. The study has two different research questions; how the impact of change influence on the business development on the border (commercial transport) and the development of passenger traffic. In addition, the research will study the traffic routes which the respondents would utilize if there would not be any challenges or obstacles.
