Elossa! Luovaa alaa ja hoivakoteja elvyttämässä yhteiskehittämällä

The project will ensure the recovery of society from the corona crisis for both creative entrepreneurs and the care staff and residents of nursing homes for the elderly, and will strengthen inclusion, relevance and a sense of belonging. The aim is to develop and validate an operating model based on a new kind of cooperation and ecosystem thinking between the nursing home and the creative industries. The result of the project is a mutual mutual understanding that produces a new kind of competence between creative actors, nursing homes and polytechnics.

The aim of the project is to develop a nursing home and creative industries based on a new kind of cooperation and ecosystem thinking policy development and validation. The project is divided into eight (8) work packages, during which the project implements e.g. diverse creative workshops for nursing home residents and employees, sparring creative sector actors on their own business plan and modeling the Elossa operating model, which has been tested through practical experiments and generates new business, business models and cooperation opportunities between nursing home and creative sector actors. The activities and results of the project will be discussed in a podcast series to be carried out during the project.

The project is coordinated by Laurea University of Applied Sciences. In addition to Laurea, the co-implementers are Haaga-Helia and Metropolia Polytechnics. The Helsinki Senior Foundation is a working life partner.
