Digia and Laurea have already collaborated previously and now, through the key partnership, they aim to deepen this cooperation further. Digia’s primary goal is to strengthen the company’s visibility among students.
- Digia is involved in Laurea and the University of Lapland’s DILEC (Digital Solutions, Inclusive Leadership, and Employee Centricity in Hybrid Work) project, which started in 2025.
- Students from various fields at Laurea have completed numerous theses and internships at Digia.

Digia is a profitably growing software and services company whose offerings cover all layers of digitalisation, from business systems and integrations to digital services as well as 24/7 monitoring and service management.
Digia’s headquarters is in Helsinki and other offices are located in Tampere, Jyväskylä, Turku, Joensuu, Rauma, Oulu, Vaasa, Lahti and Kuopio as well as in Stockholm. In addition to Sweden and Finland, Digia’s subsidiaries also operate in the Netherlands and Poland. There are more than 1,500 Digia employees in total.
