The theme of the year: Values in working life
In working life, relevance and values-based actions are increasingly important (see e.g. Martela 2020, 8-15 (in Finnish)). That's why companies and students are encouraged to get to know their values at this year's UraFest. During the event, expert talks related to the theme will be organized and students will be supported in their values work in the information attacks organized before the week of the event.
Why JobFest?
At the event, students have the opportunity to get to know companies, network and find new avenues for employment. You can even find your future job! Companies get to talk about their career opportunities and hear about our students' expectations regarding working life and employment.
JobFest was awarded as the 2023 Laureas' service act.
How do I prepare myself for the event days?
You make the best impression on companies by preparing for meetings in advance. We will help you bring out your best skills by offering information sessions on January 24th and February 7th, 2024. See workshops and register via the link below.
The readiness and courage of our students have been praised in previous events. So feel free to be yourself!
Program and attending companies
JobFest is divided into three days by study fields so that the companies you meet during the day are interested in you and your field of study. The speeches organized during the week are open to everyone and will be held hybrid. Participating companies are listed by industry at the bottom of this page.
