The application period for degree programmes in English has ended – Laurea attracted 67 % more applicants

The application period for Laurea´s  higher education degree programmes offered in English ended on Wednesday, January 18th. According to preliminary statistics, almost 10 000 applicants applied to Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

The number of applications submitted to Laurea during this year’s first joint application period increased by approximately 67 percent compared to last year, as about 5 800 applicants applied to Laurea in last year’s first application period.

Laurea offered 270 study places for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes during this application round. The most popular Bachelor’s degree programme was Business Management with 2 940 applicants. This was 180 percent more than last year.

The Degree Programme in Nursing was also popular with 1400 applicants. 

The most popular Master’s degree programme this year was the Master Programme in Service Innovation and Design with 671 applicants.
