Anna-Kaisa Hankaniemi

About me

My areas of expertise include health promotion and vaccination expertise, as well as broad-based public health nursing, such as working with families with children, health centre services, and occupational health care. Based on my previous work experience, I am also particularly interested in travellers’ health and the promotion of brain health. I am a certified Family Pathway Instructor (Perhepolkuohjaaja) and a certified Wellbeing at Work Card trainer (Työhyvinvointikortti) approved by the Occupational Safety Centre.

Education

I am a registered nurse and public health nurse by education. In addition, I have completed a qualifying programme in occupational health care at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. I completed my postgraduate studies at Tampere University, where I earned a Master of Health Sciences. I have also completed training in simulation-based instruction and clinical examination skills.
