International Visitor to Laurea
Laurea UAS actively internationalizes both its teaching and administrative staff through partnerships and global projects. Together with partner institutions, we engage in diverse international activities and welcome teachers and staff to visit and explore future cooperation opportunities.
What is international staff mobility?
International staff mobility includes teacher exchanges and other staff exchanges with Laurea’s partner institutions and companies as well as developing joint projects or strengthening partnerships. Internationalisation is supported by Laurea’s extensive partner network.
Laurea integrates international exchanges and projects into its teaching, regional development, RDI, and service activities. Laurea works closely with partner institutions to plan and implement joint projects, and study units. Lecturers and staff participate in teaching, intensive programmes, and benchmarking visits, with Laurea both sending its experts abroad and welcoming colleagues from partner institutions.

If you are interested in a teaching or staff visit to Laurea, please complete the Service – International visitors to Laurea form. After submitting the form, Laurea staff will be in contact with you. We warmly welcome guests from the Pioneer Alliance and our partner institutions.
If you have any questions, need an invitation letter, Erasmus+ or other official documents to be signed, contact sini.aalto-friman@laurea.fi.
Our Guidebook for International Visitors to Laurea 2025.pdf offers practical information about our campuses and life in Finland.
Laurea is required to collect information about all visitors (for Finnish national statistics). The name, home institution and period of stay of all international visitors will be saved in Laurea’s mobility administration system.
