Laurea’s partner university network includes higher education institutions, companies, and other organizations.
International partner universities
Laurea’s international partner university network consists of universities with which Laurea has signed a bilateral agreement. Cooperation with these partners covers student and staff mobility, joint teaching and project activities, research and development activities, regional development cooperation and various ways of developing education.

In addition, Laurea has selected some partners as so‑called main programme partners for the different focus areas of education. With these partners, Laurea carries out close cooperation in teaching and development projects that involve both students and teachers.
Pioneer European university network
Laurea University of Applied Sciences is part of the PIONEER alliance of ten European higher education institutions. The aim of the alliance is to promote the strategic development of future cities through education, research, development, and innovation activities as well as ecosystem cooperation.
The PIONEER alliance brings together researchers, educators, students, innovators, business leaders, urban decision-makers, and citizens to work on the topics which address solutions to SDG11 related questions. The focus is to support the development of sustainable, resilient, inclusive, and safe cities.
In the activities of the PIONEER alliance, EU-funded research, development and innovation projects, staff and student mobility, stakeholder events, joint publications and academic articles are means of promoting cooperation between partner universities and their own regional cooperation on urban transition aspects.

Laurea, as many other institutions in Europe is a part of Erasmus network which support the internationalization of our Institution in various level. Laurea conducts mobility activities, Research and blended or short programme and project with the support of Erasmus each year.
