Accessibility at Porvoo campus

Arrival and parking

The accessible parking space at the Porvoo campus is located at the back of the parking area in the building’s inner courtyard. The parking area can be reached by car from Taidetehtaankatu. From the parking area, the main entrance is reached outdoors along the Taidetehtaankatu pedestrian and cycling path. Drop-off traffic can stop at the square in front of the main entrance. 

The Porvoo campus has several accessible parking spaces. The square in front of the main entrance has two accessible parking spaces that are a short distance from the main entrance. 

The main entrance parking spaces and the inner courtyard parking area can be accessed by car from Taidetehtaankatu. From the parking area, the main entrance is reached outdoors along the Taidetehtaankatu pedestrian and cycling path. Drop-off traffic can stop at the square in front of the main entrance.

The accessible entrance is through the main doors at Taidetehtaankatu 1, Porvoo. The area in front of the entrance and the vestibule floor are level and threshold-free. The entrance and vestibule doors have an electric opening mechanism.

Indoor facilities

The Porvoo campus information point is located immediately after the main entrance in the lobby on the left. From the perspective of the movement environment, the Porvoo campus is accessible. There is accessible access to all facilities. The campus has an elevator on the right when viewed from the main entrance. The elevator reaches all floors.

There is an accessible toilet on every floor in use at the campus. The accessible toilet on the 1st floor is located opposite classroom 1421. The accessible toilet on the 2nd floor is located opposite classroom 2423. The accessible toilet on the 3rd floor is located opposite classrooms 3422 and 3423.
