Palvelukulttuuria uudistamalla kaikki mukaan digitaaliseen yhteiskuntaan

The DigiIN (Towards socially inclusive digital society, 2019-2025) creates solutions which will ensure that the social welfare and healthcare sector’s digital services are available and accessible to everyone. This project has three aims: - A reform of the service culture in the social and healthcare sector - Guaranteeing better electronic services for everyone - Preventing the marginalisation of people who are most vulnerable The DigiIN project has been implemented as a cooperation between the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), Aalto University, University of Helsinki, University of Jyväskylä, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, and Age Institute. Laurea’s DigiIN project focuses on socially marginalised groups, especially people with mental health problems and people with a history of crime. Several sub-studies have been carried out during the research project, including a large-scale prison survey (N=225), a smart prison study following an ethnographic approach, and several qualitative interview studies.
