Collaboration with Laurea
Cooperation between Laurea and SOL Palvelut, which provides cleaning and facility services, began already in 2019, when SOL participated in the OpintoCoach pilot implemented at Laurea. The pilot offered organisations the opportunity to develop their staff’s skills through individually tailored learning paths.
Through the key partnership the cooperation has intensified and diversified. In joint studies projects, Laurea’s students have developed the onboarding of SOL Palvelut’s new employees as well as the employer image.
- In studies, cooperation has been carried out, among other things, related to workplace wellbeing and onboarding.
- Students from different fields have completed theses and internships with SOL Palvelut.
Our goal through cooperation is to gain new perspectives for the development of our operations.

SOL Palvelut as a company
SOL Palvelut is part of the SOL Group, which employs over 13,000 people. SOL is a Finnish family company and currently operates, in addition to Finland, also in Sweden, Denmark and the Baltic countries.
In addition to cleaning and facility services, the SOL Group also provides staffing and logistics services, property services, security services and laundry services.
