Collaboration with Laurea
The partnership between Laurea and Nivos began with a separate project carried out in autumn 2021 that sought new growth in the electricity sales operating model. Through collaboration with Laurea, Nivos expects to discover new and bold perspectives and operating models to complement its otherwise traditional operations. Through the cooperation, Nivos wants to offer Laurea students the opportunity to network and to get to know a new industry.
- Studies have included collaboration, for example, related to sustainability and service design.
- Collaboration with Nivos has also taken place, for example, in thesis work.
We offer Laurea students the opportunity to take social responsibility for their own area, to participate in real working life events and activities, and through this to accumulate experience and insight.

Nivos as a company
Nivos Oy is a group owned by the municipality of Mäntsälä, whose operations combine broad expertise from different sectors: water, heat, gas, electricity, fiber and energy solutions. Nivos Oy’s subsidiaries include Nivos Energia Oy, Nivos Palvelut Oy, Nivos Verkot Oy and Nivos Vesi ja Lämpö Oy.
