Collaboration with Laurea
The collaboration between Laurea and Mölnlycke began concretely in the wound care specialist specialization training. This training, which Laurea ran for the first time in the 2021-22 academic year, is aimed at professionals already working in the field to promote professional development. Mölnlycke’s experts have been heard as guest lecturers in the specialization training.

Mölnlycke as a company
Mölnlycke is a global company founded in Sweden in 1849, operating in more than 40 countries. The company designs and supplies healthcare solutions that improve operations from hospitals to homes.
In Finland, Mölnlycke has a factory in Mikkeli, which is part of Mölnlycke Health Care’s wound care business unit. Approximately 600 people work at the Mikkeli factory, of whom 520 handle production tasks and the rest serve in various management and specialist roles. In addition, Mölnlycke’s sales and marketing in Finland operate in Helsinki.
