Microsoft’s “Skills for Work” project aims to train 100 000 new technology professionals over the next five years and, at the same time, support Finland in becoming one of the world’s most advanced countries in the data economy, cybersecurity and sustainable IT.
Together with Laurea, we want to create pathways for students to top technology jobs and provide employers with the opportunity to meet the next generation of ICT professionals.

Microsoft as a company
Microsoft has been involved in building Finland’s digital development for over 30 years by supporting the competitiveness of companies and the renewal of public services through technology and artificial intelligence.
In Finland, Microsoft employs around 450 permanent specialists and is responsible for sales of the company’s products and services and for partner business.
