Cooperation with Laurea
A central theme in the cooperation between Laurea and Helsingin Seniorisäätiö is ensuring the availability of skilled nursing staff now and in the future. Collaboration takes place through student internships, but also aims to increase the attractiveness of nursing and especially elderly services among students. Cooperation has also taken place in an RDI project.
- Helsingin Seniorisäätiö was a partner in the “Elossa! Revitalising the creative sector and care homes through co-development” project.
- Laurea students have completed internships and theses at Helsingin Seniorisäätiö.
- In studies, collaboration has been carried out, for example, on digital marketing and employer image.
Helsingin Seniorisäätiö as an organisation
Helsingin Seniorisäätiö sr is a non-profit foundation providing care services for older adults.
In the foundation’s five service homes, safe, around-the-clock care that takes individual needs into account is provided for elderly Helsinki residents.
The foundation’s service homes have a total of just over 500 residents. Helsingin Seniorisäätiö has over 450 employees, most of whom work in care.
