The Finnish Railway Museum as an organization
The Finnish Railway Museum was founded in 1898 and is one of Finland’s oldest museums. The Railway Museum manages diverse collections that include both rail vehicles and small objects, photographs and archival materials. In addition, the museum has a comprehensive railway-focused reference library. The museum hosts extensive exhibitions and lively events.
