Kerava is a city of about 38,000 residents in Central Uusimaa.
Collaboration with Laurea
The practical partnership between Laurea and the City of Kerava began during autumn 2023. Cooperation includes, among other things, studies and introducing the city’s internship opportunities to students from different fields.
- Students innovated themed routes for Kerava’s New Era Building festival URFi.
- During spring 2025, Laurea students organized monthly AI meetups for municipal employees, where practical AI use was taught.
