JobFest 2026 - Hopeful Future of Work
The future of working life will look exactly as good as we build it together. JobFest provides students with tools to pursue a hopeful working life and inspires them to create their dream career and actively develop their own skills.
The event offers students opportunities to meet representatives from various companies and organizations, inspiring info sessions and talks, panel discussions, and support for job searching.

Why JobFest?
At the event, students have the opportunity to get to know companies, network and find new pathway to employment. You can even find your future job! Companies get to talk about their career opportunities and hear about our students' expectations regarding working life and employment.
According to the participating companies, the most rewarding aspects of the event has been:
"A large group of motivated students looking for work, internships and research ideas with a thesis in mind. We got a lot of contacts and hopefully future contributors to our organization!"
JobFest was awarded as the Laureas' service act.
How to prepare for the event

Before the event
- Participate in career webinars offered by Laurea Career Services (JobTeaser)
- Create or update your LinkedIn profile and your CV
- Research the participating companies and their opprtunities
- Prepare to ask relevant questions about the companies and job opportunities
- Prepare a short self-introduction speech

During the event
- Approach employers that interest you with confidence—be yourself and talk about topics that matter to you
- Also reach out to employers you’re not familiar with—expand your network
- Introduce yourself professionally, express your interest in the employer, and ask for more information about job opportunities and how to apply
- Invite company representatives you meet to join your LinkedIn network
Attend info sessions at the Event Arena during the day and listen to the panel discussion on ‘Hopeful Future of Work,’ which concludes the day.
