Library summer
The summer closures of Laurea libraries vary from campus to campus. Please check campus-specific information here: https://www.laurea.fi/en/library/contact-information-and-opening-hours-of-the-libraries/
During summer closure:
- No due dates for loans
- Reservations cannot be made 16.6. - 4.8.
- Interlibrary services are closed 24.6. – 15.8.
- Emails are not handled
- No appointments for information search guidance
- Theses saved in Theseus are handled in August
- Laurea Finna e-books and online materials are available during the summer
- New students can make a library card at Tuudo once the Laurea user ID has been activated.
Haaga-Helia Pasila library and Metropolia Myllypuro library are open all summer, please check details:
You will get a longer loan period by renewing loans or borrowing:
- 28 day loans starting 12 May
- 14 day loans starting 26 May
The due date for summer loans will be 1 September 2021.
There is a summer break in the library's book transports on 24 June – 15 August. Reservations will not be picked up for transport or returns from other campuses will not be processed during the break.
