Jarno Limnéll appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu Oy

Jarno Limnéll was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu Oy. Espoo dweller Limnéll works as Head of the Cyber Security Unit at Innofactor Plc. In addition, Limnéll acts as Professor of Practice at Aalto University and Vice-Chair of the Espoo City Council (as a member of the National Coalition Party). By education, he is a Doctor of Military Science.
The new Chair of the Board was appointed at the Annual General Meeting of Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu Oy on Wednesday 13 October. Limnéll succeeds Jan Holst as Chair of the Board.
- I am very pleased to be involved in the operation of the rapidly developing Laurea University of Applied Sciences. Finland has an increasing need for highly skilled individuals, and in this respect, Laurea plays a key role, Limnéll commented on his appointment.

The term of the Board of Directors of Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu Oy is from 2021 to 2023.
The Board of Directors deal with tasks required by company law, take care of company management and organisation of operations, and are responsible for ensuring that the company is organised and led in accordance with regulations.
