CYCLOPES: Fighting Cybercrime – Law Enforcement Practitioners’ Network

The CYCLOPES project brought European law enforcement agencies together to tackle cybercrime. It identified capability gaps, monitored emerging technologies, and connected practitioners, researchers and companies to develop practical solutions.

Project background

Cybercrime evolves rapidly, while law enforcement capabilities differ across Europe. Knowledge, tools and collaboration were fragmented. The project was launched to help practitioners identify gaps and address them through joint work.

Results and outputs 

The project established a European practitioner network and produced reports, recommendations and insights on emerging technologies. It helped law enforcement identify gaps and adopt new solutions in fighting cybercrime.
