The UAS Moves project continues the work started in the 3AMK Moves project 2024–25 to develop a culture of higher education on the move. The UAS Moves project is carried out in close cooperation with Haaga-Helia. The aim is to develop higher education culture through movement to support learning, well-being and communality. The development targets of the 3AMK Moves project laid the foundation for the UAS Moves project by launching a common activity etiquette, creating physically active pedagogical practices and testing various movement pilots. In the UAS Moves project, the development work continues by implementing activity etiquette in the everyday life of higher education with the local HH Moves and Laurea Moves plans, as well as by disseminating information on the basics of physically active learning. In addition, the project will produce multi-professional and cross-sectoral cooperation models to increase students' physical activity. The UAS Moves project strengthens learning, attachment to studies, well-being and sense of community in universities of applied sciences and disseminates effective practices to its local operating environments in accordance with its mission. The UAS Moves project is linked to the Government Programme Get Finland Moving and the project cooperates with On the Move programme Liikkuva opiskelu functions.
