Stakeholder survey: satisfaction with Laurea at record levels

Laurea University of Applied Sciences conducts an annual stakeholder survey to gauge the satisfaction of its partners. The latest results of the stakeholder survey from 2025 show that satisfaction with Laurea has risen to a record high.

Laurea is reliable and knowledgeable

In a stakeholder survey, Laurea's overall performance received a rating of 4.2 (on a scale of 1–5), which is the highest rating in the survey's history dating back to 2014. 92% of respondents gave Laurea's operations a very good or good overall rating.

97% of respondents were satisfied with Laurea. Respondents felt that Laurea was particularly successful in the following areas: Laurea is a reliable partner (4.4), the staff are expert (4.3), and Laurea is respected (4.3).

The willingness of partners to recommend Laurea had also improved further. 86% of respondents were willing to warmly recommend Laurea or had already recommended us (79% in 2024).

Key partners are the most satisfied

The survey also asked Laurea's key partners about their satisfaction with the cooperation with Laurea. Laurea's key partner network currently includes nearly 100 companies and other organizations.

Based on the survey responses, key partners are even more satisfied with Laurea than other partners. Satisfaction with the key partner program has also increased from the previous year (from 4.1 to 4.2).

As many as 80% of the key partners who responded to the survey rated the key partnership as very or fairly useful for their own organization. According to the partners, the best aspects of the key partnership model are close contact and active communication, as well as diverse cooperation and joint projects.

“The projects carried out by students have proven to be extremely effective: companies quickly gain access to hundreds of hours of development work, and students get to solve real business challenges,” says Ilkka Kurkela, Director of Key Partnerships at Laurea.

“The feedback we have received from our key partners on the quality of the projects and the students’ contributions has been exceptionally positive.”
