The purpose of the seminar is to showcase Laurea’s unique P2P (peer-to-peer) project-based learning model and highlight the key partners who make it possible. The event also offers an excellent opportunity to network with other companies. The seminar is organized by business students from Laurea’s Hyvinkää campus.

The event will begin in the Rauhala Hall with an opening speech by Principal Jouni Koski. The program includes a presentation by Jussi Lindgren on the current state of the Finnish economy, as well as a keynote from Laurea's key partner Rantalainen on the future of their business sector.

Why you should attend?

This is an excellent opportunity to network and learn more about the wide range of services Laurea offers to businesses and explore the possibilities of becoming a key partner.

During the morning session, students will present P2P projects completed in autumn 2025. You’ll have the chance to see firsthand what kinds of projects students have implemented in collaboration with Laurea’s key and partner companies.

The projects represent different areas of business and have all been commissioned by partner or key partner companies.

Our partners will also have the opportunity to deepen their collaboration with Laurea and even take the leap to become project commissioners themselves in the future.

The event is free of charge. Please make sure to register early, as places are limited and fill up quickly. Note: Remote participation is not available for this event.

We look forward to seeing you at the seminar!

Project seminar sections

  • Customer-oriented Business

In customer-oriented business, the expectations and needs of client companies guide all actions. The goal is to create value by understanding their challenges and objectives. This approach aims to respond to needs effectively and with a customer-first mindset.

  • Marketing projects

Marketing projects are structured initiatives aimed at strengthening a company’s, product’s, or service’s market position. These can include market research, campaigns, social media strategies, events, or product launches. The student teams carry out the project in collaboration with the client, from planning through implementation to presenting the results.

  • HR and financial management

In HR projects, students focus on topics related to leadership and human resource management. The specific details of each project are defined based on the commissioning company’s needs.

  • International projects

At Laurea’s Hyvinkää campus, international projects in service design, digital marketing, and sales are carried out for both domestic and international client companies. Working with exchange students strengthens international networks and supports companies in their globalization efforts by offering fresh perspectives.

The aim of these projects is to develop students’ ability to plan, implement, and evaluate service design projects using service design methods, while also promoting sustainable development practices within organizations.
