Course content

Epidemiology and Biostatistics Master's level course gives you the ability to analyze the pathogenesis of infectious diseases, analyze and implement surveillance data in infection prevention and to implement epidemiological tools in infection prevention and outbreak management.

The course consist of the following parts

  • introduction on health care statistics and their application in clinical practice and public health
  • basics on epidemiology and biostatistics and their application in clinical practice and public health
  • epidemiological and intervention study process
  • outbreak management

Course schedule

This fully online course consists of online lectures (12 hours) and independent individual and pair work (123 hours). The first online lecture will be held on February 11th 2021 from 9AM until 4PM. The full schedule will be published before the start of the course.
