Laurea's service innovation and design thinking methods create value for any service by helping to meet the needs of customers and stakeholders in a unique and creative way – services that people really need. Service Design methods can be used for organisational and service development to increase profitability. The aim is to involve employees, customers and other stakeholders in a user-centred research process, in which a variety of qualitative methods (such as co-creation) will be utilised. Service Design can enhance business development as well as develop leadership. Laurea EduGATE offers service innovation and design education and consultancy services for a multidisciplinary perspective for service businesses. Education services concentrate on the service design process, methods, gamification and facilitating workshops.
