International weeks at Laurea

Laurea organises International weeks on different campuses with different profiles yearly. Information about the weeks is gathered on this page and updated regularly.

Laurea International Week 2018

Going global in the digital era

Laurea International Week 2018 will be organised on the campuses of Leppävaara and Otaniemi (in the city of Espoo) April 16th - 20th, 2018. The week will be open for both teaching and non-teaching staff participants from Laurea's partner institutions.

Registration closes on 22.1.2018.

Participation to the week is free of charge and eligible for Erasmus+ funding. Participants should cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

Please note that we are able to take only a limited number of participants, we will inform about the selections in February

Non-teaching staff

Administrative staff members from the following fields of work are invited to the international week.

Career counselling and career services: people who coach students to plan their career and studies or arrange services related to employment.

International Affairs: people who deal with international affairs such as student or staff mobility, IaH etc. in their work.

Research & Development: people who prepare funding applications for research and development projects or are otherwise involved in project management.

Teaching staff

The teaching welcomed to the week includes, but is not limited to, the following topics.

Please note that sometimes the fields of study overlap so there may be suitable teaching topics for you under other fields than your own also.

Laurea International Week 2017

The Laurea International Week 2017 with the theme "Come Together - Cross-Cultural Communication" was organised 3-7 April 2017 on the campuses of Lohja, Porvoo and Hyvinkää. Both teaching and non-teaching staff were welcome to participate on the week.

Laurea International Week 2016

Laurea International Week with the theme "Crossing Borders" was organised on 18-22 April 2016 on the campuses of Kerava and Tikkurila. The week was intended for both teaching and non-teaching staff.
